I work as a sales rep so am on the road a lot. This means having to be organised with my lunch and remembering to take my reusable cup out with me. I succeeded in both lunch and cup today.
I went to Planet Organic to do some work and get a coffee. They give you two stamps instead of one on your loyalty card for using your own cup : ) They also sell the fabulous Keep Cups and you get a free coffee when you purchase one
I went into Waitrose to get some things to pimp my lunch. I picked up some grapes that were reduced and realised they were in a plastic container (you'd think it would be obvious) so back they went. I bought an avocado and left. When you realise most items in the supermarket are in plastic its like a scene from a horror movie when the dramatic music gets really load and they shelves are closing in on you! Get out!!!
If I run out of water in my canteen I will buy a recyclable glass bottle of water rather than plastic. Simple changes that make a big difference. I also keep stainless steel cutlery in my car instead of using plastic. I just have to remember to replace it when I wash it each time.
